Pastor Bossman
Topic: Soul Winning and the Anointing Pt 2

I. The Mission of Soul Winning

Soul-winning is more than a task—it is a Spirit-led mission.
It requires spiritual awareness, boldness, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

John 4:34–35 (NKJV)
“Lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”

  • The harvest is ready—there are people around us waiting to encounter Jesus.
  • We must open our spiritual eyes and respond to this call.

II. The Role of the Anointing

We are not called to win souls in our own strength.
We need the anointing—it brings supernatural results.

Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses…”

Acts 4:31 (NKJV)

  • The anointing gives boldness.
  • When filled with the Spirit, we speak the Word with power.

Mark 16:15–20 (NKJV)

  • Signs follow those who believe.
  • The Holy Spirit confirms the Gospel with miracles and power.

Acts 10:38 (NKJV)

  • Jesus was anointed to do good and heal the oppressed.
  • That same anointing is available to every believer today.

III. The Power of the Anointing

The anointing is essential for eternal impact.

  • It brings boldness and breaks fear.
  • It activates supernatural results and attracts favor.
  • It fuels passion and motivation to fulfill your assignment.

Example: David

  • David was anointed and used by God to bring healing and peace.
  • The anointing made room for his gift.

Acts 2 (NKJV)

  • Peter, under the anointing, preached and 3,000 souls were saved.
  • The anointing multiplies impact.

1 Corinthians 2:4–5 (NKJV)

  • Transformation doesn’t come from persuasive words.
  • It comes through the demonstration of the Spirit and power.

IV. Pursuing the Anointing

The anointing is not reserved for a few—it is available to all who seek it.

How to grow in the anointing:

  1. Prayer and Fasting
    • These disciplines help you walk in spiritual authority.
    • They position you to cast out demons, preach boldly, and reach hearts.
  2. Desire and Ask
    • The anointing must be desired.
    • Ask God for it, and continue to grow in it daily.

Final Encouragement

  • The anointing empowers you to fulfill your Kingdom assignment.
  • You don’t need to strive in your own strength—walk in the Spirit.
  • Put God’s work first, and everything else will follow.

Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

Soul-winning becomes fruitful and impactful when done through the power of the Holy Spirit.
