Topic: Reflecting the Glory of God
Date: May 25, 2025
Key Theme
We are called to reflect the glory of God—not just outwardly, but through inward transformation. Our lives should point others to Christ, revealing His nature, love, and truth.
1. A Life Transformed Reflects God’s Glory
“You’re not just saved—your life becomes a reflection.”
Galatians 1:15–16
“…to reveal His Son in me…”
- Born again = transferred into the Kingdom of the Son
- Christ must take the center seat in your life
- True transformation means Christ is revealed in you, not just to you
2. Evidence of a Transformed Life
Galatians 2:20
“It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me…”
- You live differently
- You resist sin and pursue holiness
- Your words and actions reflect Jesus
Acts 4:13
“They realized they had been with Jesus.”
- Jesus gives boldness and wisdom
- When Christ is revealed in you, others will see Him
3. Walking in Grace and Compassion
John 8 (Woman caught in adultery)
- Jesus didn’t condemn—He restored
- Say: “Go and sin no more”
- Draw people into the house of God, don’t push them away
4. Transformation Comes from What You Focus On
2 Corinthians 3:18
“…beholding…we are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory…”
- What you behold, you become
- Filter what you consume—Word over the world
- Constant exposure to the Word brings anointing
Acts 10 — Peter speaks, Spirit falls
5. How to Reflect God’s Glory
A. Spend Time in Prayer
Matthew 6:6
“…pray to your Father in the secret place…He will reward you openly.”
- Prayer brings power
- Prayerful people are humble, anointed, and transformed
B. Spend Time in the Word
Ephesians 4:20–24
“…put off the old man…put on the new man…”
- The Word transforms mindset, attitude, and destiny
- Be the same person in and out of church—be real
- Let Christ’s beauty shine through you
6. The Result: A Life That Draws Others to God
Galatians 1:24
“And they glorified God in me.”
- A transformed life reflects Christ
- Walks in boldness, compassion, and power
- Becomes a vessel of transformation
